To aid the child becoming conscious of difference in weight with the help of the baric sense.

Age:

3.5 years old

Material:

Three boxes, each containing seven wooden tablets. Each set of tablets is made of different wood, but they are all the same size. The tablets are different weights and are shades of brown.

Note:

Children complete the following activities first with their eyes open and then with eyes closed.
