To show the various plane figures included in a hexagon.
To discriminate geometric forms
To develop growth in concentration and independence.

Material:
The small hexagonal box of constructive triangles which contains
Six gray equilateral triangles with black lines on two sides. When these black lines are mapped the triangles form three rhombi or two trapezia, which, when joined, form a hexagon
Three green equilateral triangles, one of which has black lines on two sides and two with black lines on one side. When these black lines are mapped, the triangles form a trapezoid
Six red isosceles obtuse triangles which have a black line on the side opposite to the obtuse angle. When these thse black lines are mapped, the triangles form three rhombi, which, when joined, form a hexagon.
One yellow equilateral triangle which represents half the size of the red hexagon.
Two red equilateral triangles with a black line on one side. When these triangles are mapped, the triangles form a rhombus equal to that which can be formed by two of the gray equilateral triangles, or two of the red isosceles obtuse triangles.
